Alice in Wonderland
Our students had the chance to meet with construction experts from Mansell who held a workshop on various aspects of the construction industry. The students involved took part in hands on tasks such as brick laying and where given talks on electrics, plumbing and health and safety at work.

Garden Fund Raiser with Sir Patrick Moore
Sir Patrick Moore, well known for presenting The Sky at Night on the BBC for over 50 years, invited Cantell’s STEMNet students to use his garden to help them raise funds for a trip to NASA in the USA. The day included stalls, games, a music ensemble, a book auction (books donated and signed by Sir Patrick) and a special pamphlet looking at the history of the Apollo mission. The pamphlet was specially written for the day by Sir Patrick.
Red Nose Day 2011
To raise money for Red Nose Day, our Teachers took part in sponging event! Thanks to the staff who took part, for allowing students to soak them with sponges and to the students who baked red nose cupcakes.

Rewards - May
May's Rewards Day was a trip for a special screening of Pirates of the Caribbean at the Vue in Eastleigh. Even though there was no popcorn at 9am, the movie was thoroughly enjoyed by all who went along. We look forwards to the next Rewards Day!
Rewards - Feb
Cantell's Rewards Day for February consisted of an inflatable life-size foosball game as well as an enclosed inflatable laser quest.
