It is important that students wear clothing at school which is suitable for their daily routine, whilst being relatively inexpensive for parents to buy and maintain.  It is a great help to students, when settling into a new school, to feel that they belong and this can be achieved by wearing school uniform right from the start.   We believe that it also allows both students and parents to identify with Cantell.

The Headteacher’s decision on the appropriateness of school uniform is final.

Girls - black or navy blue trousers/skirt (plain fabric - not denim or jeans style).  Skirts must be of a simple style e.g. flared, straight or pleated.  Exceedingly long or short skirts, split skirts or ‘wrapover’ are not suitable.  Trousers should not be excessively flared, split at the side hem, be tight-fitting or hipsters.  In order to conform to religious requirements, girls may wear a plain navy blue over-tunic and navy trousers.
